We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
JavaScript enthusiast for a new challenging and exciting mission to build a universal front-end platform in our Bucharest team.
You will contribute to the development of a new platform based on HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript powering the next generation of front-ends at 1&1. You will build the fundamental for a variety of new applications, from traditional websites to native-like apps for mobile devices and tablets. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies like server-side JavaScript with NodeJS, WebSockets and the like.

If you have/are
. . . Experience with JavaScript (1- 3 years);
. . . Experience with frameworks like Dojo, Toolkit, Prototype, jQuery, ExtJS etc. ;
. . . Very good knowledge of Internet technologies;
. . . Experienced with web communication mechanisms like XHR.
. . . Experience with web technologies like CSS, HTML5, JSON, XHTML, XML ;
. . . Experienced with modern web application development.
. . . Solid experience with multilevel SW-Architecture;
. . . A good knowledge of the DOM and know how to handle it.
. . . Experience and desire to work in a team
. . . A good sense of high quality code.
. . . Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Would be a plus:
. . . Experience with server side JavaScript e.g. NodeJS
. . . Experience in working with Java, JSP and Spring or comparable;
. . . Knowledge of REST and RPC.
. . . Experience in writing Selenium & Fitnesse tests.
. . . Object oriented analysis and design skills (OOA/OOD);
. . . Experience in working with tools like SVN, git and Bugzilla.
