- Writing design documents and functional specifications
- Participating in design and code reviews
- Developing and unit testing new software
- Debugging and fixing bugs during the stabilization and system support stage of the software
- Performance tuning
- Installation and configuration of system components (hardware and software)
- Travel to customer sites globally to train system operators following deployment.
- Knowledge of object-oriented concepts
- 2+ years of experience with Java Web development (Servlets, JSP, custom tags), JDBC and Java tools (ant, JUnit)
- 2+ years experience in object oriented analysis and design
- Knowledge of Struts and/or Hibernate frameworks will be considered.
- Knowledge of SQL.
