Key Responsibilities:
Participate in new software product features and software interfaces definition;
Develop high quality Client and/or Server software independently and rapidly;
Enhance Anue products’ usability, as well as their look-and-feel;
Evaluate and integrate third party software;
Use of shell scripting (e.g. – Tcl/Perl) in order to facilitate development and automated testing;
Develop JUnit tests and perform feature/integration testing;
Lead and participate in design and code reviews.
Strong Java and Object Oriented software design skills required;
Must have working experience with Client/Server application development;
Knowledge and interest in Ethernet and networking technologies preferred;
Experience with Network or Element management systems, or embedded devices is desirable;
Experience with Swing or GUI development is a plus;
Must be familiar with dev tools & processes including JDE, revision control, and defect tracking;
Proficiency with Swing and user interface design / usability concepts is required;
Web application technologies knowledge, such as PHP, XML, HTTP server, and HTML is a plus;
Excellent verbal/written English communication skills;
Ideal candidate will have a BS/MS degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
