Under the management of a Project Manager, your tasks will be (not exhaustive)
• Work with Business teams to understand requirements and produce technical designs
• Write and follow the technical design of an application
• Develop and follow an application
• Be aware to the quality, the testing and the readability of code
• Respect of your engagement on a project (planning and workload)
• Work with both in-house and outsourced technical resources: developers, test analysts, network engineers, DBAs, etc.
• Help to drive and to apply best practices for development team,
• The optimization solutions for a project
• Provide technical input on development tools.
• Assist in analysis and resolution of complex production support issues.
• Give a regular feedback to the IT managers
Requirements / Qualifications
• University Degree in technical discipline.
• At least 5 years experience working in successful J2EE/JEE applications.
• Technical competency in developing high-performance.
• Familiar with standard design patterns applicable to enterprise software.
• Mastering of Hibernate, Spring and others main frameworks
• Real experiences on Maven and/or continuous integration tools
• Versioning tools
• Strong skills on database design
• Real experiences with My SQL and MS SQL databases.
• Real experiences in Linux environment
• Real experiences of Tomcat and/or other Application Server
• Skills on coaching little teams of developers
• Awareness of network technologies applicable to a secure, fault-tolerant production website.
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong skills on reporting
• Good English language skill (verbal and written)
• Good capability to speak clearly to an attendance (technical or non-technical)
Preferred but not required
• Experience developing transactional B2C/B2B websites.
• Confirmed knowledge of XHTML, JavaScript, Ajax, XML and CSS.
• Experience working with remote teams (Romania, Paris).
• Technical Competence: uses technical skills and experience, to meet and exceed job requirements
• Innovation: Embraces creativity, innovation and is open to new ideas. Innovates to improve current working practices / products / technologies to provide business opportunities and results.
