Preferred Technical Skills
Strong understanding of Java and J2EE
Strong OO concepts, Large project experience preferred.
Knowledge of J2EE application servers, specifically JBoss AS
Knowledge of open source projects: Hibernate, Struts, Spring, Velocity, Maven, Seam, Drools, etc
Working knowledge of RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
General understanding of XML (SAX, DOM, STAX) and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL)
Non-technical Skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work independently.
Experience/Education
Candidates should have at least 3 years of application development experience, as well as at least a bachelors degree in an appropriately related field.
Outstanding developers with less than the aforementioned experience are welcome to apply.
