The DevOps Engineer will be part of an AGILE SCRUM team, responsible of new authentication and authorization modules for HomeBank, the internet banking application of the Company.
You will be in charge of Development (up to 30% of your tasks), Test Automation (JMeter, SOAP UI, Fortify) , Operations & Release management (Jenkins, Git, Serena Dimensions)
Your day to day:
- Development code in a Java environment (J2EE);
- Excellent product integrator: you package, configure and install 3rd party applications from our vendors related to the domain;
- Programming new applications and to making changes in existing applications;
- Writing and support technical analysis;
- Workload estimations during planning;
- Prepare and produce releases of software components;
- Linux experience from an Operations perspective;
- Investigate and give resolutions for defects (in test, acceptance or production environments)
- Contribute together with the rest of the team to continuous improvements of the development process, including operational documentation;
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance;
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications;
What you bring to the team:
- Knowledge and experience:
- You hold a University/Master degree in Information Technology;
- You have experience in developing web applications with JAVA, JEE (JSP/Servlets, EJB/JPA, JSF, REST, SOAP), Ngnix, XML, XSL, Spring, Cassandra, IntelIJ, WebSphere, Git, Maven, SQL
- Experience working on Agile methodology, SaFE is a plus
- Having experience in financial application development is an asset
- Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English and Romanian. Knowledge of French is considered as an asset.
