We are seeking a mid-level Java Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Bucharest, Romania.
The qualified applicant will become part of the Telecom Process Solutions Team. This is a contract to provide professional and technical services for a large French Telco organization that includes system application development, database production, service desk, network administration, security engineering, systems administration, and systems engineering support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Researches, designs, develops and/or modifies Java and web-based application software;
Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications;
Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting;
Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections;
Conducts unit testing.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree;
3-5 years of Java/J2EE development experience;
Good French skills (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications (candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration):
Bachelor's degree;
Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings;
Experience with Struts, or Spring or Hibernate;
Experience with Web Services;
Knowledge of Oracle (Migration to POSTGRE SQL);
Knowledge of MAVEN or / and SOAPUI
