As a Java Developer for a major Enterprise Wireless Network solution provider, your main role will be to design and implement new modules and functionality for the suite of Network Management applications.
Java Requirements
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented & procedural programming concepts
- Very good understanding of Java Collections
- Good knowledgde of Java 5.0 language features, e.g. Generics, Auto-boxing/unboxing, Enums
- Strong understanding of Threads in Java and its native synchronization mechanism
- Good knowledge of standard design patterns, e.g. Singleton, Factory, Builder, Proxy
- Good understanding of Java Memory Management and Garbage Collection
Other Technical Requirements
- DOM & SAX based XML parsing and manipulation
- XSLT and XPath; XQuery is a plus
- Fundamentals of computing, e.g. two's complement, bit manipulation
Bonus Skills
- Understanding of Java 5.0 concurrency
- Experience with JDBC and DB client-side manipulation
- Knowledge of Generic methods
- Understanding of the Java 1.4 RegExp API
- Knowledge of Local/Anonymous Classes and closures in Java
- Knowledge of WeakReferences and the java.lang.ref package
