We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
Java Developer for Quality Assurance team
in our Bucharest team.
What will you do?
You will. . .
. . . review developers test code;
. . . write unit tests for back-end modules;
. . . write test frameworks in order to optimize the unit/integration test cases automation;
. . . write automated test cases using Selenium, Java and jUnit for front-end testing;
. . . document your work in comments and wiki pages;
. . . organize your tests to ensure functionality coverage;
. . . integrate your tests with continuous integration servers ;
. . . report the bugs found by the tests;
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team.
If you have/are:
. . . BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
. . . previous development experience in Java/J2EE;
. . . experience or interest in developing unit testing frameworks;
. . . knowledge of jUnit, maven and ant;
. . . knowledge of web protocols (CarDav, WebDav, SOAP, JSON);
. . . knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, JScript)
. . . knowledge of version control systems (Subversion);
. . . knowledge on how to read a system specification to understand the purpose and structure of the system;
. . . knowledge on how to look at a system and its specification and from these understand the areas to be tested;
. . . highly motivated, self-driven and interested in Quality Assurance;
. . . very good communication skills and a great team player;
. . . fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Would be a plus:
. . . experience with Selenium or other test automation tools;
. . . experience with continuous integration (preferably Hudson/Jenkins);
. . . previous QA experience
. . . experience with architecture and code design;
. . . ISTQB certification;
. . . SCJP certification;
. . . knowledge of German language;
