Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, enhance and maintain functionalities relating to the various security aspects i.e. identity management, encryption, access governance;
• Take a proactive role in identifying and resolving technical and functional errors;
• Follow set standards on code and environment configuration management, project lifecycle, and release procedures;
• To provide written/verbal project progress reports or updates as requested by line manager;
• Delivery of agreed tasks to agreed time scales;
• Maintain a broad awareness of developments in application security areas, both within and outside industry sector. Make recommendations for development that will enhance the customer experience and drive profitable growth and improve conversion;
• Work in conjunction with the various geographically dispersed teams;
• Provide detailed insight on the customer journey and identify key areas of improvement;
• Actively promote the use of emerging technologies and techniques to provide standout over.
Essential requirements
• At least 5 years of J2EE experience.
• Object Oriented design patterns
• English mandatory
• Experience in at least one of the following scripting languages: PERL, PHP, ASP, JSP, .NET.
• Strong Database knowledge (SQL/ORACLE)
• Web Services, client server HTTP/XML Request/Response
• Apache HTTPD , Apache Tomcat
• Hibernate / HQL
• Struts /Spring Framework
• Analytical skills and ability to solve problems quickly.
• Ability to understand and develop based on system/software requirements specifications
• Available for travel across Europe
Would be a plus
• Any security related experience would be good
• Any experience on Identity management technologies i.e. Access Management, Identity Management, SSO, Role Management would be a big plus
• Should have handled a development project, complete lifecycle, should be familiar with Planning, monitoring and tracking of the project.
