RESPONSABILITATI

This expert resource will take-up the following task assignments within the context of STORK components:
– Participation to the maintenance and improvement (bug fixing, refactoring, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, operation, support, documentation and change management) of different common modules of the STORK infrastructure: the Pan European Proxy Service (PEPS) and the Virtual Identity Provider (VIDP).
– Review and assessment of the security aspects of systems and components.
– Adoption of a test driven approach with the delivery of unit tests, integration tests, performance tests and the setup of a continuous integration delivery platform.
– Delivery of the technical documentation, software release notes and presentations to the Identity & Access Management team.
– Compliance with a standard way of working within unit DIGIT A3 supported by a central documentation wiki (CITnet Confluence), a project follow-up web application (CITnet Jira) and a common version control system (CITnet Subversion).
– Support, consultancy and advice for STORK related matters to the various development teams at the EC and in the participating countries.

This expert will be located within the offices of DIGIT A3 in Brussels and be equipped with a PC connected to the intranet & internet so that he can professionally deliver the requested work packages in a modular set-up.

• Technology Expert in the field of identity and access management
• Top expertise of the Java programming language and of the Java virtual machine including its internal mechanisms, such as class loading and garbage collection
• Top expertise of JEE technology with knowledge of Weblogic, Tomcat and Glassfish
• Excellent knowledge and significant working experience with SAML (Security Assertion Mark-up Language) and SSL/TLS
• Excellent knowledge and significant working experience with web technologies including HTTP
• Excellent knowledge of web security and of the techniques used to mitigate security risks
• Good knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography including key management, encryption, signature and hashing

• Good knowledge of web services including SOAP and REST
• Good knowledge of relational databases including SQL
• Good knowledge of directories including LDAP

Profile
• Fluent in English and French would be a plus
