Work with the customer's team to develop software modules; write, modify, and debug software, use source debuggers and visual development environments.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle application development
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
- Perform designing and coding to written technical specifications
- Investigate, analyze, debug and document reported defects
- Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
- Create, document, and implement unit tests
- Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates
- Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Demonstrable previous J2EE software development experience of minimum 2 years
- Knowledge of JPA, HTTP Servlets, XML
- Good knowledge of Design Patterns
- Knowledge of MVC frameworks
- Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
- Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines
- A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work

- Familiar with software configuration management (SCM) tools
- Good English and French language skills (spoken and written)
