¿ Operation, installation and maintenance of operating systems, system software and supporting sub-systems
¿ Administrate the database for Praktiker accounting and commercial systems
¿ Ensure good functioning of communication lines,
¿ Back-up the IT Manager in starting servers, office equipment or launching all necessary applications
¿ Analyze operating problems to diagnose and correct problem areas
¿ Create back-up of all essential data
¿ Minimum 4 years of proven experience in accounting systems database administration (knowledge of SAP and AS 400 will be an asset)
¿ Very good knowledge of MS Access, SQL 7.0 or Oracle and Visual Basic
¿ Very good knowledge of networking (CISCO, TCP/IP, Telnet)
¿ Good knowledge of Windows XP Professional
¿ Ability to work under pressure in a calm and efficient manner
¿ Fluency in English/German
