JOB DESCRIPTION

The IT Software Developer (SD) is responsible for developing a part of the software, including :

· Designing it to fit into the architecture;

· Implementing the code;

· Testing the unit itself and its interfaces;

· Debugging and fixing anomalies identified during the verification process.


He/she should apply the project coding and testing rules. He/she should also take care of the development testing coverage. One main concern of this role is to ensure the quality, maintainability, reusability and evolution capability of the developed software. Therefore, the role has to understand the operational concept of the design to be developed.

· Refine Software Requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Practical experience:

Strong and long-lasting (5-10 years ÷) experience in the specific field:

· Software development

· Complex and heterogeneous environments;

· Usage of design patterns;

Tools & Technologies:

· .NET Framework 2.0 – 4.5; ASP .NET MVC;

· MS SQL Server including TSQL, Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Integration Services;

· Web development, JavaScript, JQuery.

· Web services, WCF


Special Knowledge:

· Working in a complex system environment customer oriented;

· Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, anticipating challenges and providing proactive solutions to meet evolving needs;

· Strong process orientation with a commitment to continuous improvement;

Skills & Methodologies:

· .NET full life cycle software development;

· Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, ETL processes;

· Rational unified process (RUP);
