IT SECURITY OFFICER will check the compliancy with security standards, like 27001:2005
He will develop and document policies if necessary
He will regularly verify the company’s data is protected, checking access control, backup integrity
Maintain the systems environment as assigned
Provide technical assistance in the development and maintenance of plans, documentation, standards and procedures
Implement, monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of all information security controls covering IT facilities and infrastructure in compliance with relevant information security standards and the company information security management systems
Incident reporting procedures and logs, intruder detection/prevention systems
Use of, and appropriate management of cryptography technology
Carry out investigations into possible unauthorized to, or misuse of IT facilities
Assist users in defining their needs for new access rights and privileges, backup
He will regularly organize the document servers restore tests
IT Security Officer is responsible for documenting and keeping up to date the business continuity plan
Assist/conduct internal and second party information security audits
Document systems security activities
Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff;
Experience and ability to teach or instruct others (including persons who do not have a technical background);
Ability to work productively in a team;
Experience in security/ISO regulations, policies, implementations;
Experience with security software/hardware, like intrusion detection/prevention, cryptography, antivirus, certificates;
Basic knowledge or exposure to project management methodologies;
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking;
Ability to understand project/task objectives and see through to full completion without supervision;
Comfortable with all aspects of system administration (i.e, system installation and configuration, system security, installing third party software, system troubleshooting), experience with hardware troubleshooting;
Working knowledge of networking hardware (e.g routers, switches etc.);
Writing/refining installation and support manuals, procedures and processes for new services;
Ability and motivation to learn new technologies quickly;
Attention to detail;
English - very good knowledge.
