RESPONSABILITATI

•Offers sales support and services to customers, prepares technical proposals, bids, project offers, answers to RFP, answers to quote requests
•Works with presales resources and understands technical implication and cost consequences of choices in technical solutions design
•Maintains a good general understanding of product lines and vendors, sales partner programs, way to do business and usage of available technical and sales tools from the respective vendors
•Identifies, adapts and conceives sales sweet points in each vendor’s offer and is able to use them towards customers
•Follows the progress of projects, overviews the complete relationship with customers, including supply of orders, deliveries, events, and generally acts as the single point of contact for any matter related to allocated accounts.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

•Sales level understanding of networking structure and technologies, server and storage technologies, SAN structure and technologies, data communication technologies
•Sales level understanding of the complete IT datacentre ecosystem, including non-IT related components and technologies and how to relate them to the core IT systems (such as cooling, power supply, UPS, physical security, fire systems, auxiliary power, etc.)
•Sales level understanding of enterprise systems and applications and requirement in relation to them, including UNIX systems overall functioning, UNIX hardware differentiators versus Wintel hardware, UNIX virtualization and partitioning technologies, etc.
•Proficiency in using relevant tools to write technical sales proposals such as Visio, Project and similar

Education and Experience Required:

•First level university degree, preferably in computer science and electronics
•Typically 3+ years of experience in IT, preferably in sales and account management, previous work with major vendors (HP, IBM, Cisco, Fujitsu, etc.), previous work with corporate and/or gouvernment accounts
•At least a few technical sales or presales certification from IT vendors which require passing Prometric type exams (testing centre or online)
