We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
IT Operations Engineer
in our Bucharest-based development team.
What would you do?
You will. . .
. . . be responsible for the administration of one of our Linux-Email platform systems;
. . . be responsible for managing IT-processes and escalations;
. . . investigate and resolve escalated technical issues from front-line support;
. . . monitor network infrastructure as part of the department 24/7 coverage and investigate any issues that arise;
. . . provide a quality level of service to both internal and external customers;
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team.
If you have:
. . . .a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent or a solid technical background with on-job experience;
. . . strong technical background in the administration of UNIX systems (Linux);
. . . sound knowledge in the performance optimization of web applications (Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, SSH) and in the programming / scripting languages (Perl, Bash, Python, PHP, etc.);
. . . experience in administration of huge email environments with load balancing methods (keepalived, lvs);
. . . experience in the operation of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), storage system, backup systems and cluster technologies;
. . . fluency in English (both written and spoken);
. . . a flexible work schedule and are a service-oriented team player.
Would be a plus:
. . . experience in any of the following: change management, incident management, monitoring systems, release management and continuity management.
