Responsible for reliable operation of Network infrastructure, consisting of CISCO routers, switches, firewalls, SITARA QoS devices, Symantec Network Security devices, etc.;
Participates in operation and development of Network infrastructure;
Maintains and ensures execution of BCP plans (networking and network security related areas);
Proactively maintains security environment, including virus protection, proxy, intrusion detection, etc.;
Utilize System Monitoring solutions to ensure proactive prevention against system failures;
Cooperates with application owners to ensure continuous and reliable operation of client-server applications;
Keep contacts with vendors and service providers;
Cooperates with IT personnel inside the global organization and with IT department of various Customers;
Participates in planning and execution of system development projects;
Provides networking 3rd level support for users by working closely with the Helpdesk team;
Provides IT support for Transition- and Digitization projects;
Creates all procedures and documentation related to IT processes
• University degree in the field of Information Technology or Computer science;
• Strong and reliable technical knowledge covering the following technologies/products:
o LAN / WAN/VoIP technologies;
o Cisco routing and switching technologies and products;
o Cisco PIX firewalls;
o QoS technologies;
o Basic shell programming skills;
o Linux experience is a plus;
• Completed CCNA(Cisco certified Network Associate), CCNP would provide competitive advantage
• At least 2-3 years demonstrable experience in the above technologies;
• Strong problem solving skills;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Creative and open minded;
• Team player
• “Can do” attitude;
• Ability to work under pressure
