Lead and manage the IT function for the MENAM region, stewarding IT resources (people, hardware, software, tools and systems) to support and enable the MENAM business strategy, whilst contributing to and adhering to European and global IT strategy and standards. Manages all suppliers of IT services to the MENAM region including internal groups and IT shared services functions to ensure that Service Level Standards are achieved and maintained.
Professional Requirements and Qualifications Required:
- University degree or similar with emphasis on informational technology,
IT Specific Management skills:
- Technical knowledge of Windows (NT/2000/XP/Vista), MS Office. Any experience/knowledge of Novell Netware, Unix, Macintosh, Lotus Notes, Oracle data base and or equivalent ERP systems, would be useful.
- Any of the following programming languages also relevant : Cobol, .Net. SQL.
- Knowledge of experience of any project management methods very relevant, business analysis skills, control and maintenance of internal IT processes and SLA, ERP system experience, Fulfilment systems, multi geography/currency/language environment. Network , infrastructure, telecom and hardware knowledge/experience also very relevant to this role working with regional skill/leadership provision.
Financial/Commercial awareness:
- Experience of budget responsibility, cost benefit analysis/consideration and business case preparation, commercial acumen.
- Previous experience as an IT business partner most welcomed.
Leadership skills:
- Good command of English, both verbal and written;
- Dynamic personality with excellent communication and negotiation skills,
- Great sense of responsibility with ability to work under pressure, independently as well as in group, flexibility and adaptability,
- Task orientation with ability to initiate projects and carry them out.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and find various solutions.
- Experience of managing small - medium size IT teams in terms of:
- individual performance management, objective & task setting and review, team motivation are assets of the position holder.
