RESPONSABILITATI

Scope of the Position

This position is responsible for running all aspects of the IT department. Ultimately, it is responsible for the functionality, security, reliability and performance of all technology within the studio. Through the desktop and network teams, it will implement and support all technology within the studio.

The IT manager will be EA Romania primary point of contact for all IT related projects and initiatives. In this respect, he/she will establish a close working relationship with EA Romania Studio Executives, Directors and its Producers. He/she will be responsible for developing methods to identify and communicate studio IT needs to the senior management team and assist in addressing and prioritizing these needs.

The key aspects of the position focus on planning, executing and growing EA Romania IT services including desktop support, telecom, networking, server infrastructure and mastering. In addition, he/she will partner with other EA world wide IT organizations to leverage initiatives from other studios. The IT Manager will assist in leading local implementation of applications development tools and services originating from EA Romania and will share information and insight from the EA Romania studio relevant to EA WW studios IS&T initiatives.

CERINTE

Position Qualifications:

a) Education:
• BS degree or equivalent work experience
• Network+ or CCNA certification or equivalent work experience
• MCSE certification or equivalent work experience
• Linux certification or equivalent work experience

b) Special Knowledge or Skills:

• Requires 5-7 years experience in all aspects of IT
• Requires 3-5 years experience in the management of IT
• Experience with establishing process, procedure and policy
• Experience with Technical Writing
• Experience managing/coordinating projects in a support environment
• Experience using MS Project
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and Visual Basic for Applications
• Experience with database software, especially Oracle, SQL, Access, and defect tracking database applications
• Experience with Reporting tools, such as Crystal Reports
• Experience with Document Management Systems/methodology

c) Other Requirements:

• Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work with varied staff members and personalities
• Proactive, assertive, self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
• Creative and objective disposition with strong problem solving skills
• Excellent customer service and support skills
