Position Title: IT Director
The Information Technology Director is to provide technical directions and technical management for the Group´s information technology assets and infrastructure support systems. His/Her responsibility is to furnish leadership in planning; supporting Management Information Systems related activities and functions applications. He/She will be accountable for all managerial and administrative aspects of implementing the development of MIS methodologies of technical hardware and software tools processes.
RESPONSABIILITIES:
* Develops and implements information technology strategic plans and solutions to fit with
Group´s needs.
* Defines, prioritizes, and seeks under management direction, major development projects: approves interaction, allocates resources, monitors progress and evaluates performance.
* Manages technical development: systems operations, security functions, server systems
environments, network operating systems, and documentation of processes.
* Responsible for information technology, primarily focused on meeting and achieving the
Division´s I Department´s I Activities´ objectives through detailed planning, technology evaluation, identifying key information technology options to be pursued.
* Directs and maintains the development of software applications: financial/accounting,
human resources, inventory, and others.
* Designs and applies enhancements to the existing information technology systems which
will efficiently deliver top level information to the management.
* Analyses and suggests systems hardware and software standards.
* Determines the general level of support, which should be provided to users.
* Furnishes and maintains the service oriented attitude of the departments and provides responsible attention to user requests.
* Prepares, coaches and motivates a competent team of subordinates´ employees.
* Reports to the Managing Director.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
* A proven leader who is capable of managing diverse information technology functions within
diverse businesses.
* Demonstrated senior executive experience in developing and leading a proactive, value-added Information Technology Department.
* A solid understanding of Management Information Systems (MIS).
* Leads a comprehensive communications effort.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills since the position interact with all levels of employees.
OUALIFICA TIONS:
* A Bachelor´s & MBA degrees, ideally in profession, are required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Strong Management Information Technology Systems (MITS) skills.
* Minimum of 5 years of senior managerial experience, as IT Director, within a well organized production / industrial environment.
* Organized and be able to handle a wide range of responsibilities with minimal supervision.
* Bilingual: English - Romanian.
