The main responsibilities of the IT Director are related to:
- Management of Staff;
- Administration and Strategic Planning;
- Project Planning and Analysis;
- Project Management;
- Technical Support Coordination;
- Professional Development of his team;
- Administrative Duties.
The IT Director reports to the General Manager of the company.
Main requirements:
- Min. 3 years in a similar position;
- Possess broad knowledge of Information Technology concepts, management concepts, and applications;
- Demonstrate outstanding management, organizational and project management ability. Demonstrate the ability to function as a team member or leader;
- Possess adequate knowledge and experience for developing and managing project and budget plans and be able to report on these activities effectively;
- The position must have and use knowledge about IS combined with standard departmental and administration;
- Experience and ability to teach or instruct others (including persons who do not have a technical background);
- Possess and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to communicate technological concepts to people of all technology skill levels;
- Bachelor¿s degree in computer science or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field;
- English knowledge - advanced level;
- Proactive, good motivator;
- Very good organizing skills.
