Main responsibilities of the job:
Participates in the IT activities related performing business relationship function;
Performs project management for IT internal projects including the coordination of all the involved parties reporting of the project status, project deliverables and project budget;
Supporting the IT Management for performing portfolio management over the internal and external IT resources;
Performs periodic reporting activities related to the IT activities including trends in IT capacity provisioning covering the requests reaching IT department;
Works with IT providers, establishing clear and lean processes for performing the IT project management function in the projects where they are involved.
Responsible to understand the business, assist in the prioritization of projects, ensure that projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment;
Works with business area teams to understand project requirements, shape the initial project request, and provide a high-level estimate of the project effort and costs;
Works with IT architects to discuss potential solutions that match the business strategy with the Technology strategy.
Required background:
University Degree in Computer Science or similar;
Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in performing IT portfolio management and IT resources coordination for mid and large sized IT projects;
Required competences:
Strong knowledge about the general IT service delivery best practices, standards and methodologies applied to the IT environment financial industries;
Good knowledge of Project Management methodology and needed software tools (e.g. Microsoft Project);
Excellent applied banking knowledge;
Proficiency in dealing with Microsoft Power Point and/or other similar presentation software tools;
Courses or certificates in the field would be an advantage;
Strong personality, able to work under pressure;
Open minded and motivated person;
Excellent presentation and analytical skills;
Fluent in English (speaking & writing).
