The IT Department of Ubisoft is currently seeking a Business Analyst to work within project teams and transform business needs into solutions, whether these solutions result in product configurations, product developments, trainings or process recommendations, for Ubisoft teams around the world.
Your tasks:
Understand and analyze internal clients requirements and issues
Understand and analyze business context and processes surrounding requirements and issues
Ensure impact analysis, design and propose appropriate solutions with the support of direct manager and development teams
Participate in the evaluation and benchmarking of market solutions when required
Assist Project Manager in organizing projects and building plans
Assist development team during the implementation of solutions
Prepare and execute test scenarios & scripts and accompany users & clients during certification phases
Deliver training and product documentation
Act as a trusted advisor to clients and support user training and general usage needs
Ensure knowledge transfer to support teams during or at the end of project
Assist the support teams on complex issues encountered by product users
Your profile:
Minimum of 3 years of similar or equivalent experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or a related field
Working experience on IT projects and a good understanding of the various project phases and activities
Experience with marketing & sales-related projects a plus
Experience with document and/or digital asset management is a plus
Business & impact analysis skills
Data analysis and diagnosis skills (using SQL, Excel or other data analysis tools)
Great communication skills able to negotiate with clients, explain complex issues and train users
Organized and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving many issues simultaneously
Curious, persevering, autonomous, proactive individual with problem solving skills
Questions her/his own work and seeks future improvements
Able to function effectively in a fast paced environment and work on multiple concurrent projects
Basic understanding of the following :
Database & Web application programming languages & components : MS SQL, ASP.NET with C#/VB.Net, ADO.NET, Silverlight
Object & Service oriented programming
Menu & interface ergonomics & designing
Very good written & spoken English & French
