Our client is a leading multinational company in defence & communications industry.
Role description:
The job holder is responsible for the IT and Sensors architectural solution within SISF and reports to Head of System Architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
-Handling the IT and Sensors Technologies part of SISF at architectural level
-Responsible for consolidating and managing IT Interfaces between Subsystems and with External Institutions
-Ensuring at architectural level full compliancy to IT and Sensors related requirements.
-Providing coaching and support to IT Subsystem in designing and implementing optimized IT Solution and Interfaces, compliant to selected architecture and agreed requirements.
-Work in close cooperation with Surveillance Subsystem for designing optimized and compliant solution.
-Point of contact to Integration & Test Team, concerning overall SISF IT and Sensors topics.
-Identification of issues and risks, proposal of corrections and mitigation actions.
-Working in accordance with regulations of Business Management System (BMS) and SISF specific regulations.
-Regular reporting incl. calculation of metrics and process indicators.
-Preparing relevant information for reviews and audits.
Education:
Bachelor, Master, Diploma or similar education with adequate practical experience in the field of IT Software Architecture, System Architecture or Informatics,Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or comparable.
Professional education:
SW-Architect in medium, preferably large scale IT- projects
- System Analysis,
- Modelling, Simulation, Testing
- System Design,
- Software Design.
Professional experience:
-5-10 years in the specific field
Skills & Methodologies:
-Requirement Engineering
-Rational unified process (RUP)
-DoDAF, NAF
Tools & Technologies:
Enterprise Architect, Rational Tool Suite, DOORS,ESB, SOA.
Foreign languages:
-English mandatory;
-French and German would be considered an advantage.
