Key responsibilities:
- To prepare technical and commercial offer for integrated telecommunication projects. The applicant has to be able to understand customer needs and to provide an end-to-end telecom offer solution matching the customer requests. In presenting the complete offer solution, the applicant will rely on the expertise of different team of technology experts (IP networking, wireline/wireless access, optical transport etc)
- The tendering engineer is responsible for the offer preparation, ensuring the following steps:
- Correct translation of customer specific requests
- Design and validate the (cross technologies) overall technical solution
- Preparing the technical proposal and commercial quotation of the project with possible support of dedicated technology experts
- Preparing the offer review meetings
- Integration of the final offer dossier
- Providing technical and commercial support during offer presentation, evaluation and contract negotiation
- In the offer preparation activity the tendering engineer should be able to develop and manage business relations with key suppliers and subcontractors to be involved in specific parts of the project. Manage integration and evaluation of applications partners/suppliers
- Multiple systems integration into a functional technical solution
- Promotion of Alcatel solutions to the clients
THE JOBS ARE BASED IN BUCHAREST AND TIMISOARA
Technical university degree, (Telecommunication and Electronics, Automatics, or equivalent experience)
- Extensive knowledge of telecommunication solution and technologies (TCP/IP, SDH, ATM, FR, TDM, access/transport/core technologies, telecom protocols)
- Previous project management/operational experience in turn key telecommunication projects.
- Experience in Network Services and Network Architecture fields is a plus.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Visio
- English ¿ advanced. French is a plus.
