What will you do as an intern?
Receive in-house training in IT general controls (Development, change management, access to program and data, computer operations);
Shadow Seniors on the job;
Assist seniors in documenting their work and in this process learn how to document own work;
Gradually independently handling IT general controls work in less complex environment duly supervised by seniors;
Learn the concept of automated controls and how to test them;
Develop report writing skills.
A growing and crucial part of our audit service enables organizations to gain comfort that their systems, processes and risk management procedures are operating effectively within a well-controlled environment. This involves detailed examination of computerised systems which process client's data and generate financial statements. Attention to the design, documentation and operation of controls is critical to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information used for financial reporting and management decision-making.
You can join the Systems and Process Assurance Team as intern to get a glimpse on what Systems and Process Assurance is about. You will develop your technical skills through hands-on exposure to complex client accounting systems.
We are looking for highly motivated graduates in an IT-related discipline for a 4 months internship, starting October 2013.
If you are a final year student or fresh graduate (preferably in the last year of your master’s studies) of an IT-related degree (Polytechnics, Cybernetics), you have the opportunity to join us as an intern. Strong analytical and IT skills, coupled with a drive for professional development and advanced English skills are prerequisites for this position.

Note that the internships are full-time. You will be able to sit all your exams at university. As for attending courses and seminars, our flexibility is subject to the client engagements you will be assigned to.
