International Purchasing Manager (based in Bucharest)

RESPONSABILITATI

The International Purchasing Organization plays a key role within the company objectives to optimize the total cost base and expand capacities by increasing international (and domestic) Low Cost Countries (LCC) sourcing activity in volume and share for a dedicated region/country.
LCC region scope: Great China, India, Eastern Europe/Russia, SEA/NEA, and Latin America

Each regional IPO develops implements and promotes in priority the international purchases and supplier development in his region/countries concerned.
IPOs support globally both Global/Key commodity management and project management.


Responsibilites:
- Coordinate and consolidate sourcing market intelligence, i.e. products, technology and new suppliers in the LC country concerned.
Involve in preparation of country specific sourcing strategy with the Business Units & Sector.
- Support Global Commodity Director/ Key Commodity Managers to implement the country sourcing strategy. Could receive a mandate from Commodity Managers to negotiate prices, capacities or frame agreements.
- Associate in supplier qualification and development process depending on the nature of the commodity.
- Coordinate communication between suppliers and the rest of the organization.
- Strongly involve in Sustainable Supplier Development in the country
