- Ensure that Management and employees are properly informed on the legal framework applicable to the capital market, with support provided by Legal department;
- Report to Management, head of departments and financial auditors, the situations where legislation and regulations in force or internal procedures have been breached;
- Take appropriate action in order to prevent and/or to correct any situation of infringements of the capital markets laws and regulations, or of the internal procedures, by the company or by its employees;
- Monitor and verify on a regular basis the enforcement of legal provisions relevant to the activities of the company and of its internal procedures; to record the irregularities found;
- Endorse the documents sent by the company to C.N.V.M. in order to be granted the authorizations referred to in the C.N.V.M. regulations, as well as the reports sent to C.N.V.M. and to the entities of the capital market;
- Ensure that all the complaints received from the clients and of the way in which these have been solved are properly recorded.
- Minimum 2 years experience on the capital markets;
- Prior experience on similar position (internal control, compliance) is a major asset;
- CNVM certification for internal controller is preferable;
- Solid knowledge of CNVM rules and regulations;
- Solid expertise, responsible, serious, analytical person;
- Structured work approach (thoroughness);
- Able to work in accordance with established standards and legal frameworks;
- Problem solver, results oriented, quality focused, very good planning & organising skills;
- Trusted judgement and sound decision making process.
