For our client, a prestigious non-bank financial institution providing financing solutions for large corporations, middle market companies, professionals, small businesses and local authorities, being the largest lease firm in Belgium & Luxembourg and among the top five European cross-border leasing companies, we are looking for an Internal Controller and Compliance Officer.
Responsabilities:
Ensuring the coordination with the other functions having compliance implications, especially with the Legal Function;
Coordinating the implementation of the global compliance policy of the Group, while taking into account the local regulatory requirements and the specifics of the functions carried out;
Ensuring the Coordination of Permanent Control by analysing the control systems and promoting the implementation of formalised controls, covering operational, accounting, credit, legal, I.T, HR, compliance and reputation risks that are considered as major risks;
Ensuring that the activities are carried out with diligence, loyalty and equity and according to the primacy of client interests, market integrity, procedures, the Group’s reputation and its legitimate interests.
University education or equivalent expertise acquired through experience;
Efficient and reliable;
Flexible, ready to learn and apply new knowledge;
Computer skills;
Experience in multinational companies in positions like Compliance Officer or Internal Controller;
Knowledge of English language is compulsory;
Knowledge of French language is a plus.
