- Participates in the preparation of the risk-based internal audit plan which fulfils the responsibility of the department
- Works together with management to ensure a system is in place which ensures that the major risks of the organisation are identified and analysed, on an annual basis
- Participates in planning of the audit assignments, establishes audit scope and objectives
- Performs specific audit procedures and prepares working papers documenting the audit procedures performed
- Assures follow-up of audit findings to ensure adequacy and timeliness of correction
- Participate in process and internal control improvement initiatives
- Meets with Company management at all levels to discuss audit plans and results
- Initiates, advises and coordinates with other departments about development of new procedures and processes
- Provides assistance to external auditors as requested
- License degree in Economics (preferably in Finance and Accounting)
- Several years (2-3) audit experience
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of audit procedures and accounting standards
- Good IT skills: MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in Romanian and English
- CIA, ACCA or authorized by Romanian Financial Auditors’ Chamber is an advantage
