Job Purpose:
As a Intermediate Developer within the R&D department, you will be responsible for implementing new functionality and maintenance on AML Products (Anti Money Laundring). Your responsibilities will include:
Coding and unit testing new functionalities in Java, but also on proprietary technologies;
Contributing to the maintenance of the product through analyzing support requests and fixing customer issues;
Participating to technical analysis in collaboration with the technical architects and business analysts;
Supporting QA testing.
Graduate in computer science or equivalent;
A minimum of 2 years of Java (J2EE) development experience;
Experience of development in the context of a mature, large application preferably in financial software;
Experience with web user interface design & development (JSP, HTML, Java script, CSS, etc);
Experience with automated testing technologies (jUnit,etc);
Nice to have knowledge of C, SQL and relational databases;
Willing to write technical specifications;
Quick learner with ability to follow intensive on-the-job coaching to quickly become productive;
Process-oriented, disciplined and rigorous;
Good communication skills;
Proactive; capacity to work autonomously and to take initiative;
Good team player as part of a global distributed team.
