Alvarion is expanding its IOT lab. The new labs will provide services and solutions to WiMAX operators, among them IOT, E-2-E system integration, applications such as VOD and more.
We are looking for an excellent testing Engineer to help us support enriching our product lines offering and providing more solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities:
As part of the job you will be required to perform the following:
- You will test the functionality against the system requirements
- Prepare test specification: Analyze system and software requirements, take part in the definition of test requirements, create test specification and scripts
- Test software releases and developer fixes
- Provide feedback to software development team on defects
- Execute the test plans
- You will test different vendor products and make sure protocol and product alignment per Alvarion specifications
- You will test different vendor product and certify them as part of Alvarion WiMAX network
- BS. In Computer Science or Electronic Engineering
- Knowledge and experience in: TCP/IP, Eth, Bridging, Routing, Switching, QoS;
- Passionate about networking (switches and routers)
- Fluent English
- Experience in networking testing – advantage
- Experience with testing equipment: Sniffer, SmartBits, Agilent, Ixia – advantage
- Knowledge in Mobile network – advantage
- System view of end to end solution – major advantage
