Information Security Specialist

RESPONSABILITATI

- Overall responsibility to support the Management and the Business Unit and service the offices in performing an adequate Information Risk Management in the organisation, in line with the ING policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
- Implement and monitor security controls according with IRM policy and GWAN rules;
- Develop procedures related to Risk Management activity;
- Perform Business Impact Assessments/ Threat Vulnerabilities and Controls Assessments / Data Classification;
- Develop Security Plans for critical assets; Coordinate Risk Acceptance process;
- Coordinate Asset Ownership process;
- Analyse external connections, identify gaps and propose solutions to minimise/eliminate the impact;
- Maintain the relation with regional support teams (e.g. ECS) and support them for local implementation;
- Advise Business on security related aspects for critical projects in line with Information Security Policies and Risk Management framework;
- Perform Applications control reviews;
- Coordinate the implementation of Information Securities Strategies across Business Unit;
- Oversee the implementation of Encryption techniques;
- Coordinate Penetration Testing activities and manage the closing of security findings;
- Create Risk Management reports in line with existing framework (e.g. KRI, KPI, Dashboard, MIS, Scorecards, etc) and propose actions to improve the activity based on them;
- Monitor the closing of Audit findings;
- Implement and maintain a Security Awareness framework;
- Maintain contact with Regional IRM and Branches IRM officers and keep up-dated with latest developments from G-IRM;
- Advise management on latest trends and propose actions to align to regional requirements;
- Coordinate the IRM Team in absence of IRM Manager;
- Carry out all job tasks in accordance with all applicable internal and/ or law requirements, rules and regulations.
- Cover other accountabilities and specific tasks delegated by the superior, as justified by the business needs.
