Candidates¿¿¿ requirements:

¿¿¿ Degree in the area of information technology,
¿¿¿ Relevant experience in the area of information security (min 3 years) in a multicultural environment
¿¿¿ Knowledge of information security standards such as iso27001, compliance audit (min 2 years).
¿¿¿ Proven project management experiences,( bs 779s)
¿¿¿ Solid communication and problem solving skills,
¿¿¿ Knowledge of audit methodologies,
¿¿¿ Analytical mindset and can-do attitude
¿¿¿ Added advantage if candidates have certificates in: CISSP, CCSA, CCSE, (ISC)2













Responsibilities:

The Information Security Officer is accountable for the effective implementation of Information Security related policies and procedures in line with business requirements and corporate standards across various internal offices in Europe. The Information Security Officer will work together with other business functions within the firm and external (non-internal) organizations and departments. High level responsibilities include:

¿¿¿ Communicating with management about security risks and the current state of security of the business;
¿¿¿ Interpreting corporate and local security policies, procedures, guidelines and best practices to understand how they apply to the specific business;
¿¿¿ Representing Europe firm in corporate forums and in Customer interactions within the area of information security;
¿¿¿ Development, maintenance and communication of business specific policies, procedures and guidelines;
¿¿¿ Verifying that a secure change control process is instituted for all systems and applications;
¿¿¿ Monitoring security compliance of networks, servers, and applications;
¿¿¿ Ensuring client PCs are secure and contain correct versions anti-virus software and any other recommended security tools.
¿¿¿ Providing security awareness within the business.
Evaluating, testing, and implementing security technologies that meet business needs
