Primary Responsibilities :
1.Maintain leasing system (including local adjustments), which will be in parallel a learning process on how to use the leasing system as well as how to make any changes in the future
2.Collect new requests from business departments, related to new functionalities of NOLS, necessary for new legal requirements, business improvements or preserve the competitive advantages of NOLS application. RPG programming will be the base for implementing these requests.
3.Create and analise technical specifications based on requests from business side.
4.Set and maintain technical parameters for NOLS leasing system.
5.Develop and/or modify modules of NOLS, according to technical specifications
6.Develop and/or modify the source code and test the modified source code.
7.Testing for new developed programs/applications
8.Develop the necessary programs to create the links between databases and other platforms used by our client in Romania.
9.Develop and update the architecture of leasing system, considering the interfacing with other company applications.
10.Support and maintain the leasing system on an ongoing basis and perform upgrades and adjustments as required, together with IBM, based on SLA contract.
11.Develop an acceptable level of information security which is in line with the Corporation ICT policies. This should be approved by Security Officer and Security Administrator.
12.Interact when necessary with LPIS (European Data Centre) and perform tasks to support initiatives started from LPIS or LPRO.
13.Maintain and develop the proper support material and manuals in accordance with good programming practice and the requirements of the company, including technical specifications, test plans, acceptance protocols.
14.Develop new initiatives in association with the Management Team including testing and quality control
15.Follow all reasonable instructions from ICT Manager and Management Team.
16.Understand and comply with all LPCorp policies and procedures with relation to ICT
Requirements:
- Degree in a technical/scientific faculty (Computing, Telecommunications, Physics, Mathematics) plus specific IT education.
- At least 5 years work experience in IT field
- Experience working for a multi-national corporation is an advantage
- Proven ability in using AS / 400 utilities: QRY, DFU, SEU
- At least 2 years experience as an analyst programmer working on an AS / 400
- Knowledge and experience in using SQL, RPG III/IV, Lotus Notes, OMS
- Ability in using IBM DB2 and CL for AS400
- Project management skills
