- To provide strategic and operational HR support to meet the needs of the business.
- To implement agreed HR strategies, polices, procedures, best practices and systems
- To monitor and control HR activities in the business. To ensure required standards are maintained and provide suggestions for service enhancement and improvement.
- To monitor developments in local employment law and HR trends and propose/implement appropriate HR solutions.
- To provide HR Business Partner support to the country management team
- To provide direct leadership to HR officers in order to ensure professional HR services and a high rate of good professionals’ retention
- University degree (Legal / Social /Psychological /Economical background)
- Minimum 5 years generalist HR experience with at least 1 at middle management level (ideally with an international organisation)
- Fluent written and spoken English (any other language would be an asset )
- Able to produce written reports, deliver presentations and participate in business meetings
- Sound knowledge of local labour law and employment practices
- Sound knowledge of best practice HR
- Good PC-skills (MS-Office, MS Outlook & other specific HR software would be a plus)
- Economical overview of the business
