The HTML/CSS Developer will be responsible for creating HTML mock-ups that support the requirements gathering and specifications process. He/she will use PSD files, wireframes, and written user stories to extract all the necessary elements needed to create the final mock-up. He/she will insure that online standards, rules and visual guidelines are followed in development process. The output (HTML mock-ups) will be used by the Development team to build the application and by the Marketing team for presentations.
Our opening will initially be a three months assignment which can grow into a long term collaboration.
Technical skills:
-Thorough understanding of professional website development for business clients. Examples of implemented designs will be expected with your resume;
-HTML & CSS Advanced (I.e. coding pages primarily with CSS for cross-browser compatibility, using tables only for major structural elements.);
-Medium Photoshop knowledge necessary for transforming layouts to XHTML (PSD to HTML).
-JavaScript would be a plus;
Soft skills:
- Independent and highly self-motivated with a strong customer focus;
- Enthusiasm and passion for web environment;
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Action and results orientated, ability to manage multiple priorities is also expected;
- Good communication skills are required in English.
