RESPONSABILITATI

Provide daily technical support to the business, both locally and as part of virtual EMEA team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide daily technical support to the business, both locally and as part of virtual EMEA team.
- Troubleshoot PC / Printer hardware and software problems
- Provide first line support for server infrastructure
- Responsible for Win95 / NT and Windows 2000/XP support on desktop PC¿s and laptops
- Supporting the printing environment
- Supporting applications such as Microsoft Office, Netscape, Internet Explorer etc
- NT user administration if required
- Hardware / Software installation & upgrades
- Hardware / software troubleshooting and liaising with vendors for quick resolution
- Providing remote support to customers located at other Oracle sites
- Assist in Projects where required
- Updating IT support documentation
- New Starter and Leavers process
- Maintaining the PC setup environment


CERINTE

- Certificate / Diploma in Computer Science / equivalent would be beneficial

- 2 years experience supporting a Windows environment

- MCSE /MCP would be beneficial

- Proficient in the desktop Windows environment (Win95 / WinNT / Windows 2000 XP)

- Knowledge of Windows NT server an advantage

- Good knowledge of Internet technology, TCP/IP etc

- Good technical knowledge of computer hardware

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities

- Good written, verbal, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Willingness to participate in a remote team environment.

- Ability to work under stress and a continuously changing environment

- Self-motivated and hardworking

- Wishes to continuously update skills, undertake training courses and achieve certifications
