General description of the job:
H&S specialist is responsible for developing H&S- related practices, helping in implementation of the local H&S laws and Ruukki corporate requirement for H&S Management, collecting data from the unit and helping unit to find out and solve corrective actions according to data.

Keytasks:
-Developing and updating operational models related to H&S (ISO 14001 and Ruukki’s safety management requirement) systems
-Training and coaching organisation to use H&S related tools and methods
-Collecting data for regular H&S –reports and sharing the information to local authorities and Rukki divisions
-Follow up of local H&S laws
-Setting targets and action plans to units together with local responsible persons
-Sharing and implementing global best practices to unit
-Supporting the unit to reach results in H&S operations.
