Endava is expanding into Bucharest, establishing a new delivery unit in Romania’s capital to complement its existing set of three delivery units across Romania and Moldova. To establish the new delivery unit a critical role must be filled – that of Head of Testing in Bucharest.
As Head of Testing you will be:
Responsible for our testing services capability, including quality and performance, for the Bucharest Delivery Unit.
Responsible for ensuring TEAM is used and contributed to by Software Testers in Bucharest.
Responsible for line management of senior testing resources within BHD.
Responsible for participating in Group discipline activities and contributing to Endava’s testing capability overall.
Responsible for growing a strong testing community within BHD and dialog with other Disciplines.
Responsible for Discipline reporting and act as an escalation point for the issues reported in the Testing Discipline.
Maintain and offer necessary support in recruitment, pre-sales and workforce planning activities.
Involves actively in the project winning and initial project shaping activities offering support to senior team members and Project & Test managers.
Provides assistance to the Testing Service offer for both Romanian & UK generated sales opportunities.
Coordinate and plan the technical trainings and certifications to develop the right technical knowledge within his group.
Approves Endava Time Sheet Discipline effort and Requisition Forms related to his Discipline.
Actively participates in the Delivery Unit budget planning and budget execution.
Experience in managing a testing department & have extensive commercial experience of testing projects (preferably independent testing).
Significant experience in a variety of testing types & phases; Functional & Non Functional, System & Integration.
Significant experience using formal testing methodologies, including Agile Scrum and RUP (both advantages), and the full testing lifecycle.
Experience with automated testing, using both Open Source & Commercial tools.
Has excellent communication & client facing skills & the ability to evangelise technology, techniques and testing best practice internally.
Experience with mentoring, motivating and leading large teams of testers.
Financial Sector experience is an advantage.
