For one of our clients, multinational very well known and market present company in the oil and gas industry, we are currently looking for an experienced and seasoned Head of Technical Development to join this extremely dynamic company.
The key responsibilities for this position will be:
- Development of strategy and strategic measures in the area of responsibility;
- Develop and propose the annual investment plan and the long range investment plan;
- Modify the n-year investment plan as needed;
- Ensure sufficient technical capability to support front end development of investment projects;
- Definition and ensuring of long-, mid- and short-term objectives in coordination with concerned refineries and with close-by refinery divisions;
- Deduction, coordination and enforcement of adequate development concepts;
- Initiation and monitoring of realisation of action-portfolio to increase effectiveness and efficiency in Refining across the departments as well as at the own area of responsibility;
- Monitoring performance achievement and initiate countermeasure in case of negative performance;
- Keeping track of relevant technical developments and deduction of relevant measures;
- Leadership and management of assigned employees;
- Compliance of budget, influenceable costs.
The ideal candidate for this position will answer to the following requirements:
- University degree (Technical)
- Executive/ Consultative experience and knowledge in Technical Development in Refining and Project Management
- Excellent English proficiency
- MS Office
- Leadership experience
- Strong communication skills
