What would you do?
be responsible for the development, managing and leading of a quality assurance team -Portal Development division;
manage team and overall expectations pertaining to setting accurate schedules, efforts and resources;
assure that all products have good quality and compliant with technical specifications;
ensure delivery against Quality Center department goals and objectives, i.e. meeting commitments and coordinating overall quality assurance schedule and activities;
assure the viability, functionality, development (if necessary) and effectiveness of essential quality tools and test systems;
anticipate program/project portfolio release problems and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments.
If you have:
BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
at least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance;
at least 1 year in leading a software quality assurance team;
experience with an automated testing tool (Webdriver, Selenium, etc.);
knowledge on how to read a system specification to understand the purpose and structure of the system;
experience in applying black-box test deduction methods like equivalence class analysis;
knowledge on how to assess the quality of software by measuring the relevant factors: testability, correctness, reliability, usability, maintainability, reusability, performance, security, scalability, stability;
knowledge of tests in the different test levels (component-, component integration-, system-, system integration- and acceptance testing);
fluent in English (both written and spoken);
proven experience in GUI test automation for web applications;
highly motivated, self-driven and interested in Quality Assurance;
very good communication skills and a great team player.
Would be a plus:
ISTQB certificate;
understanding of Java technologies.
