For one of our clients, a company active in the medical field, we are looking for a Head of Operations who will be responsible for managing the two research centers in Romania.
Insuring that activities of laboratory work are in compliance with the appropriate legislation and proper operating practice;
Being responsible for working positions engagement, training and professional growth of the staff of the laboratory;
Preparing and supervising the activity plans for the employees;
Ensuring that processing, examination and storage of cord blood are realized efficiently and with the minimum possibility of contamination;
Ensuring adhere to documentation and of the material, which are related with laboratory work;
Supervising and optimizing the registration process of cord blood units are properly identified;
Managing the external examination process of cord blood;
Managing the quality control program and also standard working processes in terms of principles of correct manufacturing practice;
Being responsible for implementing the quality assurance program and the good manufacturing practice (GMP);
Managing the relation with vendors;
Being responsible for timely, correct and complete submission of department documents to another business units of the company; Participating and updating the GMP in terms of valid legislation and standard procedures,
Being responsible for laboratory equipment condition, maintenance and safeguarding;
Being responsible for laboratory safety and employees health protection at work;
Being responsible for and gathering, storage, disposal and decontamination of biological and other waste;
Managing the relation with governmental authorities;
Preparing budgets and business plan of the department, is responsible for managing budgets;
Optimizing the activity of the department, in cooperation with other business units of company, proposes changes in procedures, in equipment and property facilitation;
Being responsible for innovation and introduction of new procedures;
Being responsible for documentation (results of examination) issued to clients;
Fluent English language;
University degree - master degree;
Managerial experience min. 3-4 years;
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written;
Problem solving, hard-working and professional attitude;
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, employees and managers regarding centre operations or personnel issues to ensure the smooth operation of the centre;
Knowledge of working processes;
Strong personality with focus on business
