For a commercial international bank, top 10 for Romanian banking market, we are looking for a Head of Internal Audit .
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the performance quality of the Internal Audit function
- Ensure timely implementation of the risk based Annual Audit Plan
- Lead audit teams on audit engagements as necessary
- Provide team members with guidance, training and assistance
- Perform risk based planning of audit engagements
- Implement and enhance the audit methodology
- University degree, preferably in Business Studies or Economics
- More than 3 years of work experience in auditing (internal or external), preferably in the banking sector
- At least 2 years of related managerial experience (team leadership or/and audit assignment management)
- Familiarity with relevant professional standards as well as laws and regulations
- ACCA or CIA membership is considered an advantage
The preferred candidates should have:
- Proven managerial skills
- Very good team player
- Very good presentation skills
- Very good analytical skills
- High proficiency in written and oral communication in English
