RESPONSABILITATI

Identification, evaluation, development and implementation of new suppliers from Romania and other countries from Central Eastern Europe (CEE) in the Power Generation procurement processes in order to achieve maximum contribution to the operating result.
Lead of a Global Sourcing Manager team in Romania. Coordination of all team activities within the team and PG.

Tasks
-Clarification sourcing relevant demands (e.g. material properties, fabrication standards and quality, volumes, delivery time) with PMs.
-Screening relevant markets and suppliers, for relevant information and long-lists.
-Contact, check and evaluation of new suppliers in close cooperation with PMs. Coordination and performing of communication, meetings, business trips and document transfer between suppliers and PM-teams.
-Evaluation of relevant technical and commercial capabilities, production and supply processes in order to determine supply and quality risks.
-Concepts for risk and contract management to avoid risk and warranty costs, etc.


CERINTE

Education
-Technical background in Mechanical engineering
-Commercial background

Knowledge/Languages
-English, optional German language

Experience
Knowledge or experience in the Power generation industry, especially in welding and machining processes, manufacturing of large steel constructions, castings or forgings. Knowledge or experience in procurement, cross-functional tasks or Project Management
