RESPONSABILITATI

To ensure, through the design and implementation of customised solutions for International (French/Spanish) clients, the achievement of bank s objectives, profitability of the portfolio and quality of credit.
To gather and satisfy the requirements of all handled International (French/Spanish) customers, extending the use of alternative channels and effectively managing the product mix.
To ensure long-term satisfaction for handled customers and the evolution of the customer basis, guaranteeing the management of developing activities and the acquisition of new customers.
To ensure quality of service to all UCI group banks requiring assistance/providing contacts, timely response and full assistance within the limits of the position.

Identifying the Desk target customers for the Country and defining the marketing mix serving the purpose of acquisition of these customers;
Provides support in defining coherent financing structures for Desk customers, together with the competent Branch or with other competent Corporate structures
Provides support in defining on the pricing of the services and products offered to Desk clients
Recommending to CRM (through the Desk Opinion) the loan applications generated by the Network for Desk clients
Bringing added value to the services and products offered to its clients by constantly customizing/ improving the bank's offer

On the revenue side, achievement of the budgeted figures at French/Spanish Desk level with reference to the return from each service/ product, number of existing customers, as part of the overall marketing plan and in accordance with the strategy lines set by the bank s management
On the cost side, efficient management of the resources available at Desk s level

Develops mid- and long-term strategies for the Desk in coordination with the Intl.
Monitors and evaluates current market conditions and assesses competitors strengths in order to offer the best suitable range of products to its regional clients

Co-operates with the Director of Intl. Desk in establishing the Desk budget for the following year
Whenever requested, updates the yearly forecast and next years estimates in the light of the current performance
Follows-up regularly on the results achieved on Desk s clients
Reports, on a timely basis, to the Director of Intl. Desk on the results achieved at French/Spanish Desk level.

Co-ordinates together with the relevant Regional Management, the account relationships on the lending side (together with Risk Management) and on more complex cross-selling offers, such as treasury, custody, cash management, etc. with the specialized bank departments

Ensure a proper implementation and follow up of quality initiatives
To be pro-active in finding solutions and fixing issues
To analyze the capacity vs. volumes on a monthly basis to ensure that the processes are kept under control
All responsibilities of the position holder are completed by internal working procedures & regulations. The job holder is responsible to know and be updated with procedures in force.

Complies with the general legal provisions, NBR regulations, and all internal rules, procedures, policies of the Bank;
Ensures and guarantees the confidentiality related to the clients of the bank, transactions, internal policies and procedures, and to human resources information regarding self and Bank s staff members;


CERINTE

Education
University degree (preferably in Economics) or as alternative
proof of advanced University curriculum(*), training on various topics (trade, lending, leadership, etc.)
Professional Background
Minimum 4 years experience in Corporate banking, with at least 1 year in a leading/ managerial position and at least 2 years of experience in dealing with international clients with a position in an international desk; an extensive experience in the French/Spanish banking system is a plus;
Exposure with complex deals/ financing structures
Good recommendation from the former employer, most preferably a top bank
(*) in addition to at least 5 years banking experience in corporate banking
Good knowledge of banking transactions and the international market, and good knowledge of the Italian banking market;
Good communication skills (for internal and acquisition purposes)
Language skills: fluent written & spoken English and French/Spanish;
Capability to work independently (at all stages of a transactions including decision making)
