Responsible for organizing and supervising all Company’s financial operations: financial and management accounting including preparation of financial statements and reports, budgets and forecasts, taxes and internal controls according to the statutory and corporate guidelines; conduct internal and external audits
Working Partners/Contacts
Internals: Siemens srl Top Management, internal auditors, heads of divisions other company employees;
Externals: Banks and financial institutions, external auditors, representatives of local authorities, customers, suppliers and other company's partners.
Tasks
-Managing shared accounting services arrangements: negotiation with customers, ensures personnel of the right skills in the right quantity at the right time will produce an outcome that satisfies customer’s expectations at a high level of professionalism
-Leading, managing, coaching, motivating, appraising and developing the corporate finance team organized as a center of competence for Siemens srl and its Group customers, team structured in accounting, controlling and reporting, finance and taxation staff;
-Overseeing the company taxation and managing the extensive tax structuring opportunities; conducting tax audits and inspections
-Ensuring close cooperation with commercial colleagues in a pro-active and solution oriented manner to support the day-to-day business operations from accounting, controlling, finance and tax point of views;
-Driving developments and changes in internal controls, procedures, accounting policies and management information system to improve processes and prevent and detect fraud, errors and irregularities
-Evaluates initiatives and propose alternatives that contribute to the continuous improvement of all processes while respecting local and corporate guidelines;
-Participates and supports the budgeting process and designing the business plan;
-Establishes and maintains close relationship with colleagues from other countries within the region as well as with the regional and central finance headquarters;
Education
-University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or comparable background;
-Professional accounting qualification: ‘Expert Contabil’ licence issued by CECCAR; ACCA is an advantage
Knowledge/Languages
-Solid knowledge and understanding in finance and accounting RAS IFRS and US GAAP
-Exposure to direct and indirect taxation in a large multinational environment
-EPR working experience – SAP is an advantage
-Experience in leading and motivating people;
-Well-organised, able to prioritise and multi-task, and to persuade others to do likewise;

- Team player and team builder;
- Creative, efficient problem-solver; solution oriented;

Languages:
Fluency in English;
German is an advantage.

-Management experience of 3+ years;
-At least 5 years working experience in an international environment;
