A multinational manufacturing organisation with operations in the UK and Eastern Europe has an exciting new job opportunity for an experienced Head of Finance to join their team in Romania.
Setting up and managing a finance team in Bucharest/Alexandria;
Internal audit for all group companies;
Financial reporting to support manufacturing operations in Romania;
Reporting to the Group on the financial performance of several entities;
Providing support to the UK financial operations;
Ad-hoc reporting on special projects.
Skills:
Have a structured and methodical approach to tasks and have the ability to identify risks and recommend actions to mitigate these;
Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge;
Experience of using SAP Business One would be an advantage;
Knowledge and experience of setting up and managing an internal audit function;
Excellent communication skills and fluent in English, Romanian and preferably German.
Experience:
You will have a formal accountancy qualification (full or part qualified) from a recognised accountancy body or a minimum of three years experience working in a similar role;
Previous experience of setting up and managing finance teams;
A background in manufacturing would be advantageous;
Willing to travel in UK and to Alexandria (production center);
Finance Team will be located in Bucharest or in Alexandria.
