In Powertrain management system and calibration Division, the HIL (Hardware in the Loop) Specialist will work in a growing and motivated team and he will be responsible for the development of HIL Simulators used for testing Powertrain Control Software, from early developments to industrialization of the Software and Calibration.
The HIL team is responsible with:
- the development of simulation environments
- the development of automatic test procedures
- preparation, maintenance of the HIL simulators and user support
The HIL Specialist is responsible with the following tasks:
- Cooperate with Powertrain Software Engineers to define the characteristics of HIL simulations.
- Develop and maintain HIL simulation environments.
- Develop, maintain and run automatic test procedures.
- Ensure the availability of the HIL simulators for all users (local in Romania or remote from worldwide locations of Renault).
- Cooperate with the HIL team in France.
- Cooperate with the HIL team progress plan, to improve the customer satisfaction and the performance of the HIL team.
Needed Knowledge:
- Degree in Engineering. Most appreciated subjects: Control Engineering, Electronics, Simulation, or Computer Science.
- Experience in HIL (Hardware in the Loop) systems is very appreciated.
- If no experience in HIL systems, a significant experience in at least one of the following fields is mandatory:
- Design and Test of Real-Time Embedded Control Systems (for automotive is a plus);
- Mathematical Model Design with Simulink;
- Object-Oriented Computer Programming.
- Capability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Capability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment.
- Fluent in English or French; good skills at least in both languages.
- Following knowledge is appreciated:
- Embedded Software
- Simulation and Modeling
- Automotive Internal Combustion Engine or Gearboxes
- Control Engineering
- Driving license is required or will be needed from the first two months on the job
